Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. lived his life serving others. Following his example, millions of Americans serve on Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service, including Timberline students and families. MLK Day is the only federal holiday designated as a National Day of Service to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities.
Join us at TMS on Monday, January 20, 10-11:30 am, for Timberline PTSA's sixth annual "Day ON, Not a Day Off" day of service. Together we will work to improve the lives of others, build community, and learn about important local and global issues. This event is free and open to Timberline students and their families. Pre-registration is required. (Can't attend the event, but still want to help? We are also in need of supply donations!)
We will be working on several projects and participants will have the opportunity to choose which projects to work on. Projects will include, but are not limited to:
