If you receive the newsletter e-mail on a computer, simply click on the "OPEN IN BROWSER" link at the top of the newsletter. In the browser, you should see the Google Translate header at the top of the page.
On the right side, click on "TRANSLATE" and select the language you would like to translate the website into.
Now, on the top left, you should see "english detected" and a dropdown for the language you want it translated into (we don't know why they ask you twice - ask Google!)
Once you select the language, the newsletter will be translated!
If you receive the newsletter e-mail on a cell phone and your browser is Chrome, click on the "OPEN IN BROWSER" link at the top of the newsletter.
Once in Chrome, click on the three vertical dots in the top right corner of your cell phone and one of the options will be "Translate".
From here, you can select a target language at the bottom of the page.
If you receive the newsletter e-mail on an iPhone and your browser is Safari, there are two ways to access translation:
Option 1: Click twice. In the newsletter e-mail, click on "OPEN IN BROWSER" to open the newsletter in Safari. Most likely (depending on your browser settings), the translation bar will not be displayed. Click "OPEN IN BROWSER" again, and it should display
Option 2: If your Safari setting are "Request Desktop Website", the translate option will be visible the first time you click on the "OPEN IN BROWSER" link in your email. If Safari is not currently set to "Request Desktop Website" on your iPhone and you would like it to be, these are the steps:
- open Safari
- at the left side of where the URL addresses are displayed, you will see a small A and a large A. Click on that
- a menu will pop up and one of the options will be "Request Desktop Website" If you select that, everytime you open our newsletter in Safari, the Translate menu will be present.
