We are looking for 3 volunteers to serve on our Nominating Committee (NomCom). Committee-work takes place January through April and requires about 6-8 hours total of your time. NomCom is responsible for recognizing and recruiting qualified people for our elected PTSA board positions for the 2026-27 school year. Committee work includes holding confidential meetings, reviewing nominations, interviewing candidates, and searching for candidates. Committee members should be familiar with the needs and goals of the PTSA, enthusiastic and supportive of the PTSA's mission and initiatives, and capable of maintaining confidentiality. It is also helpful, but not required, to have connections within the current TMS community or with incoming families from our feeder elementary schools (Ella Baker, Rosa Parks, and Wilder).
